This is just a quick diary to say that I just turned on the TV this morning and saw the Words "CIVIL WAR" as a rubric over scene of distruction in Iraq. The Today Show talking head, Matt Lauer, was talking with former general, Barry McCaffery, and they were attempting to explain why NBC had made the decision to now refer to the Civil War in Iraq. All I heard McCaffery say was the one reason was the level of violence (big surprise there). Then I had to run to help my kid get ready for school so I missed the rest. Now I have to run to work. If someone saw the whole segment could they report what finally woke NBC up and caused them to join the real world. You know it is bad when the major networks call Iraq a Civil War. Well in the words of John McClain, "Welcome to the party, pal!"
