This same system was used in Tucson, AZ in 2005 for the city council races. It was used to make about 150,000 calls in 3 weeks and was decisive in that race. Tucson is Democratic, but had been under Republican control since 1991. The Dems had half of the early ballot requests that the Republicans had before the truck arrived, within three weeks the Dems had more than double the requests and broke the record for requests in a city election in Tucson. The race was expected to be close, but ended up a 30+ point blowout for both Democratic candidates, effectively ending Republican control of the city.
Now, I am not saying Montana will be a blowout, but this will help turnout the vote and it is under the radar, so it will not necessarily show up in polling data. It makes me more hopeful for Montana...
