Thanks to Daily Kos, I have an overactive imagination. I wish there had been a place this morning after the election to make book on when Hastert, Rumsfeld, Cheney and maybe even our Prez would resign. Punish Nancy the only way we know how. Make her President for two years. It's the Gingrich Rule, stupid: If I can't play the game any way I want, I won't play. Once you've been hot shit, who wants to be cold mashed potatoes, just another elected official trying to make America a better place for the poor and struggling and helpless. Puleeeze. What kind of a sap do you take these old neocons for!
So here's my paranoid fantasy thanks to the bad influence of Daily Kossacks and their art and commerce. If Haliburton can no longer operate with impunity, siphoning off the U.S. Treasury into the pockets of the Bush-Chosen, then Haliburton won't want to play. What kind of profits can be made with oversight, for Dean's sake! And if Haliburton can't loot, what's the use of having a war? Wasn't the war merely to make the rich richer? Aren't all wars? How crazy I must be to think that a war was needed in order for Haliburton to receive all those fat no-bid contracts to further line the pockets of Cheney/Bush, Inc.
So now, with actual auditing and prosecutions on the BLUE horizon, cancel the war, quick! and hide the cards and chips. Never mind the deaths and dismemberments, it's a raid! Let's see how long the war goes on now if the Haliburton cash machine opts out.
And then be on the lookout for the next "tragedy" that benefits Haliburton.
Some times I worry that Daily Kos is making me cynical. Or was it Daily Bush?
