For the newest addition to the kos pages lets look at the double standard privileges permitted the Bush inner circle but where the rabble and serfs are deemed unworthy. Today an amazing double standard was shown in the LA Times story by James Gerstenzang. Bush thinks gays should not be parents...
Bush sticks to his views on gays becoming parents
He considers traditional families ideal, says his spokesman, but thinks Mary Cheney will be a 'loving' mother.

WASHINGTON — Although he recently expressed confidence that Mary Cheney will make a loving parent, President Bush continues to believe it is best that a child is raised by a man and woman married to each other, the president's spokesman said Friday.
Yes fellow citizens all animals are equal but some animals are more equal than others. Doesn't the buffoon in chief hear his own words? How does his quote from this article live on the same planet as his views concerning Mary Cheney?
I can understand when people can have conflicting and inconsistent positions when they are still learning about life - like teenagers. But for Chrissakes Bush carries the undeserved title of the leader of the so called free world.
So gays cannot be good parents, Mr. Bush. Look to yourself sir! The twins are not a model of excellent parenting in my opinion. But in reality it is not my place to question your parenting skills either. But perhpas Mr. Bush you would like to have the government step in and determine who ought to be parents generally.
Why stop with the gays. Have a chat with Bill Bennett and maybe we can come with a licensure program for parenting so that the crime rate will fall - Yes Mr. Bennett, we will stop those African Americans on the front end so that you don't to abort black baibies to reduce the crime rate - you moron. Is that President Bush smiling over there? I thought so.
So another double standard is shown on this Saturday. Just one of probably hundreds. Kossaks tell us about others. And tell us about what you think about gay parents.
