I've posted several diaries about the Generation Election PAC (
http://www.generationelection.org). If you don't remember what it is, please go to the website (
http://www.generationelection.org) and read our mission statement.
All of you have been so helpful before. You've volunteered ... you've contributed $2 and gotten a free thinkBLUE2008 band (go to http://www.generationelection.org to contribute NOW) ... and now we need your help again.
We are in the process of forming committees all around the country for GEPAC. We want their to be an infrastructure for GEPAC in every state and every major city, so we can effectively help our candidates and activists no matter where they may be.
So, do you want to be on one of these committees?
This is how it will be structured:
GEPAC National Committee
The GEPAC National Committee will be made up of people who are dedicated to bringing change to our country. It won't be limited to certain age groups. These are the people who will help us who work at GEPAC make the day-to-day decisions. They will also be heavily involved in fundraising. They also will have a big role in approving which endorsements GEPAC makes.
To apply for the GEPAC National Commmittee, please send an email to gepac@generationelection.org
GEPAC Finance Council
These are the people who take care of fundraising. Ideally, they have contacts throughout the country who are willing to give money (whether it be a few dollars or a few hundred dollars) to help take back our country be electing a new generation of progressives to public office.
To apply for this committee, please send an email to gepac@generationelection.org

We could always use help designing web pages and making sure all our tech stuff is in order.
To apply for this job, please send an email to gepac@generationelection.org
GEPAC Legal/Accounting Team
Running a PAC is not an easy job. We need people who know the ins and outs of the law (or are willing to learn). We are still searching for a treasurer, so please apply to day.
/To apply for this committee, please send an email to gepac@generationelection.org
This is a long list. But if we do everything on here, we will be so much closer to becoming a real force in progressive politics.
We are talking to a lot of people about our web design. If you have expertise in that, please conatct us: info@generationelection.org
Thus far, our volunteers have been great. They have answered every call and done everything we've asked, and I'm sure they'll do it again here.
Also, if you would like to contribute $2 to GEPAC and receive a free thinkBLUE2008 wristband (free shipping on that as well) go to http://www.generationelection.org and click "Contribute", give $2 and we will contact you within a few hours to confirm your shipping information.
