Brian Sussman, of HateTalk 560 in the SF Bay Area, reached a new level of depravity today by making a joke about Coretta Scott King. My letter to him follows ...

Brian,
I tuned in tonight, and heard you talking about all
the speakers at Coretta Scott King's memorial. You
have a lot of righteous indignation about the
propriety of the event. I'm sure you care a lot about
Mrs. King's legacy. Then I heard ...
They went on so long I thought they were going to
have to call in the embalmers and redo the corpse.
Even for you, this is a low. Is she just another dead
n***** joke to you?
You followed this with a barely coherent rant about
Jimmy Carter's comments. I'll try to explain what
Jimmy was getting at so that even you can understand.
The reason Martin and Coretta are heroes isn't because
they had a good idea. It's because they passionately
and effectively pursued that idea despite the
hostility of powerful people. From the MS Encarta
article on the FBI ...
Hoover also ordered aggressive surveillance of civil
rights leader Martin Luther King, Jr., and tried to
discredit King by disseminating derogatory information
about him to the media, Congress, and others.

But you wouldn't know about any of this, because
you're a mean-spirited, empty-headed bloviator.
Have a nice day, idiot.
