From the BBC, the White House has released the list of the 10 "Major" terrorist plots that it has supposedly broken up since 9/11.
Three of those plots were in the U.S.
Here's my question: 3? Three? Only 3? Don't get me wrong, if we have broken up 3 plots on the U.S. in the last 4 years, that's great (though given the White House's utter lack of credibility on any issue, I find this doubtful), but 3? This is what we are spying on our own people for? This is why 2300 have died in Iraq? This is why our civil liberties are being stomped on? This is why our economic future looks dimmer and dimmer every day?
I wonder how many plots were foiled in the last 4 years of the Clinton administration. 3?
I guess my point is - what the hell are we doing, and why are we letting this administration get away with it? Why is it taboo to even bring up the point that we are totally overreacting to the terrorism threat, to the detriment of our liberty and our way of life?
