Gee, how about this headline from the WP:
SPYING NECESSARY, DEMOCRATS SAY
But Harman, Daschle Question President's Legal Reach
By Walter Pincus
Washington Post Staff Writer
Monday, February 13, 2006; Page A03
Two key Democrats yesterday called the NSA domestic surveillance program necessary for fighting terrorism but questioned whether President Bush had the legal authority to order it done without getting congressional approval.
Rep. Jane Harman (Calif.), ranking Democrat on the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, and former Senate majority leader Thomas A. Daschle (S.D.) said Republicans are trying to create a political issue over Democrats' concern on the constitutional questions raised by the spying program.
Questions? There aren't any questions. Except to ask why the Washington Post is making Fox News look like The Nation.

What are they putting in the water at these media establishments?
Seriously, you have to question the actual sanity of the people who write the headlines. Because if they're not insane, they are on the Bush payroll.
Nobody is against SPYING. Nobody is against SURVEILLANCE OF SUSPECTED TERRORISTS.
The entire problem with Bush's little "program" is that it was WARRANTLESS.
Which means he can spy on ANYBODY. You. Me. John Kerry. He can even spy on reporters at the Washington Post.
Hmmmm. Maybe that's the reason they're writing headlines like this.
Hey Pincus. Does Bush have a copy of your bookmarks? Your internet history from late at night after the wife's gone to bed?
What the fuck, Pincus?
What's your excuse?
