I realize this isn't the most important thing to be writing about, but it's so strange that I thought maybe you people would be interested in hearing about it.
I play in a band called The Mockers. Apparently, out of nowhere, and completely defying ANY logic, our song "It Wasn't Just Me" was the basis for the "Political Play of the Week" on CNN! Here's the transcript link:

It aired first on Friday during Blitzer's show, and then I guess repeated throughout the weekend. I missed it, of course, but I'm trying to get a copy. I have no idea how Bill Schneider heard about the song. Maybe they had the title and found the song after that? Who knows?
The ironic thing is, we have several very pointed politically oriented songs, including one called THE EMPEROR STRIKES OUT, which has been played on Air America. The video has also been played quite a lot here, and believe it or not, in Spain. Not sure if AEI Bill knew about that, heh heh.
By the way, if you wanna hear the song or watch the EMPEROR video, our website is http://www.themockers.net
Just thought I'd share that mindblowing story...
