Lt. Colonel Charles Brown for Congress
Lt. Colonel Charles Brown, USAF retired, is a 26-year veteran rescue helicopter and fixed-wing pilot who has experienced war first hand, but has opposed the Iraq war from the day it began. Brown is a committed environmentalist, a 22 year member of the Sierra Club. He believes the federal government and large corporations have taken too much choice away from individuals and is therefore pro choice. He is an advocate of veterans rights and supports removing the income cap on Social Security in order to keep the system strong and public. These issues are very well received in this district which has a high number of veterans and retired citizens. He also supports universal health care and clean money elections. Paul Hackett has shown in Ohio that Republican politicians are vulnerable to strong veteran candidates even in districts that are Republican strongholds. CA-4 is only slightly over 48% Republican with a large number of independent voters. Help win back the congress with Charlie Brown -- a man of integrity, fiscal conservatism, and progressive vision.
Charlie Brown is taking on Rep. John Doolittle in the 4th Congressional District of California. Doolittle is one of the top Republican leaders in Congress and is being investigated in connection with the Abramoff scandal and is one of the biggest supporters of Tom Delay. Doolittle can be beaten. He faces a perfect storm at "home" in this district that he rarely visits.
Please support this "fighting Democrat" today.
