While some want Domenech run out on a rail, some are, as one might expect, switching on their vast capacity for delusion and making some of the following amazing claims:
But first....AN UPDATE!
The RS Directors give Ben a big, wet smooch and forgive him as any good little Republican should be forgiven. I guess they had long ago hoped to be a credible source for news OR opinion:
The left has their blood today. Ben resigned from the WashingtonPost.com. He did not resign from RedState - and even if he tried to do so, we would have refused to accept it. The four Directors of this site, including Ben, had a call earlier today shortly after he spoke with the Post and we're happy that Ben's staying right here.
Just Wondering By: MBIGOP
While it appears Ben is indeed guilty of plagiarism and should step down, before he is fired, has anyone let it run through their mind if WAPO set him up.
You have to think they did some research into his work, I mean, if it all it took was some google searches and comparisons to his writing, you would think they were aware of these instances ..

Yes, that evil liberal rag knew about the plagiarism in advance, and only hired Dumbenech knowing this would all happen. Sorry fella, Democrats are still not sophisticated enough to do Rove.
Wouldn't stun me By: RC
if the WaPo was in on this in order to try and smear the right. But, it would take an incredible effort to find so many "examples" of plagirism.
Such an effort could only be concievably undertaken by Soros employees. I guarantee that if you look into the major players on the left in this, they are all employed by George Soros.

Admit it, you didn't think that it could get weirder than the first freak, did you? DID YOU? I'll bet you didn't even know that you were a George Soros employee, did you? Amazing, amazing hypocrisy, considering yesterday poor old Dumbo was being smeared, but they do it to Soros every day. Soros may deserve to be criticized over ruining this or that country's economy overnight, but I have a funny feeling that there is a small but real chance that GS doesn't spend his time worrying about Washington Post bloggers. Ahhhhh, I get it, THEY'RE PROJECTING AGAIN!!!!. They think that lefties being able to put together a completely damning portfolio overnight is a sure sign of a set-up. Hmmmm, let's see, where might they get this idea...I mean, considering that thousands of experts on typewriter fonts had declared Dan Rather's documents fake within 15 minutes of their publication? I can't think.
See I am not convinced he should have to step By: Just Me
down.
This stuff, if true, didn't happen within the context of his current job, and mostly happened withing the context of a college newspaper. It also happened mostly with regard to more "fluff" type pieces, and didn't really involve major academic works.
If he did it, an apology is in order, but I am not sure we should declare somebody unable to be employed in this capacity.
Seems to me that the GOP is entirely too good at falling into the lefts traps and eating our own. The left turns the dogs loose, and the GOP like good dogs, joins the pack, and tears up the target for them. We are essentially giving the left veto power.
I just want to puke. What a POS this guy is. More twisted, delusional thought has never been crammed into three paragraphs. But boy oh boy, This is Projection PART III! Subsitute "right" for "left" and "left" for "right" and you'll know what I mean.
