At least that's the headline on Fox's website. Scroll down to "Politics Headlines" to see what I mean (
http://www.foxnews.com/...).
The problem is, there's no actual video there, or at least my little abacus isn't processing it.
I did see the report, from Cameron Whathiznuts on the story a few minutes ago, and apologize if this has already been posted, but I didn't notice it if so.
The point seemed to be a technical one about whether Bush authorized Cheney to tell Libby to knowingly leak false information to Princess Judith.
According to the tale, as told by Cameron W, the original filing by Fitz stated that Bush declassified a portion of the NIE relating to whether Iraq was seeking to get enriched uranium. The correction issued by Fitz puts the lie to that assertion, according to Fox, because that particular judgement was in fact not made in the NIE.
So in asserting that the claim that Bush didn't, in fact, knowingly disseminate false information, the story seems to simultaneously expose Bush's assertion that "He wanted people to see the truth" as being, er, false. What specific truth was it that Bush wanted to be released if it wasn't about the uranium question?
What am I missing here? And I apologize for Fox's link not actually working, if it doesn't for you...
