Last January, we launched GoodStorm.com and have so far signed up over 400 individuals and organizations. Some of the organizations are so big, that their visibility and coming out party is a little delayed but we will be announcing a series of new large non-profit partners.
Today we have another tool to power the progressive movement.
One of my favorite success stories is the Bring Them Home Now campaign that raised over $20,000.00 in just 3 weeks. It was the less the amount but the speed that impressed all of us at GoodStorm.
Today, we are announcing another program called MeCommerce. We got TechCrunched today ~ http://www.techcrunch.com/2006/06/23/goodstorm-to-offer-e-commerce-widget-with-50-revenue-split-for-bloggers/
MeCommerce will pay 50% of top line revenue to the bloggers who use our technology. Simply put if a book costs us $15 and your blog sells it for $25, we split the $10 profit ~ $5 for you, $5 for GoodStorm.
Please feel free to sign up if you have a blog or web site. We think you'll like the technology but more important, you'll know that all of you at ON inspired the vision behind GoodStorm and MeCommerce.
Our beta program starts June 30 and we're taking only a limited number of participants. We want to make the final product great so we need beta testers who are willing. Together we can build yet again another engine for financial empowerment through the use of fair business models and technology.
