The three questions that Democrats on the Senate Committee on Intelligence must ask Gen. Michael Hayden about the NSA data-mining program:
1. Is this program catching terrorists? If so, were the phone records of millions of innocent Americans crucial to finding these terrorist?
2. Why are everyone's records needed? Are we going to find al-Qaeda by a process of elimination?
3. If this data is being used for social network analysis would it not be smart to focus on known terrorists instead of wasting resources analyzing the social networks of soccer moms?
What questions would you ask?
