Never again?

Sometimes (ok, most of the time) I think Bush is a real piece of work, or the Pat Robertsons of the world are heard from too much, or Congress is full of lemming morons, but then something comes along, hits me with a brick and says, "Hey, dummy, you are still really lucky."
I've been accused before on this forum of being biased against Islam. Frankly, I think that every major religion in the world needs a reboot, but I DO have a special loathing against the fourth century medievalism that persist in Islam today. Any religion that does what Islam does to its women, minorities and unbelievers (or those who believe but just believe differently) should be slapped around and stuck into a corner with a dunce hat on.
Come to think of it... You could say that's where Islam was, actually, before we needed the oil that unluckily sits under the sands of countries governed by sociopaths.
"Human rights groups are raising alarms over a new law passed by the Iranian parliament that would require the country's Jews and Christians to wear coloured badges to identify them and other religious minorities as non-Muslims.
"This is reminiscent of the Holocaust," said Rabbi Marvin Hier, the dean of the Simon Wiesenthal Center in Los Angeles. "Iran is moving closer and closer to the ideology of the Nazis."
Iranian expatriates living in Canada yesterday confirmed reports that the Iranian parliament, called the Islamic Majlis, passed a law this week setting a dress code for all Iranians, requiring them to wear almost identical "standard Islamic garments."
The law, which must still be approved by Iran's "Supreme Guide" Ali Khamenehi before being put into effect, also establishes special insignia to be worn by non-Muslims.
Iran's roughly 25,000 Jews would have to sew a yellow strip of cloth on the front of their clothes, while Christians would wear red badges and Zoroastrians would be forced to wear blue cloth.
"There's no reason to believe they won't pass this," said Rabbi Hier. "It will certainly pass unless there's some sort of international outcry over this."
Bernie Farber, the chief executive of the Canadian Jewish Congress, said he was "stunned" by the measure. "We thought this had gone the way of the dodo bird, but clearly in Iran everything old and bad is new again," he said. "It's state-sponsored religious discrimination."
Ali Behroozian, an Iranian exile living in Toronto, said the law could come into force as early as next year.
It would make religious minorities immediately identifiable and allow Muslims to avoid contact with non-Muslims."
We've done this to ourselves, given the butchers power because we need a black goo. We don't speak out against the Saudi royals, we don't speak up for the women who are forced to submit to the pigs that men can be (especially under this religion), we sell them guns and F-16s and radars. We were for Saddam before we were against him. We, the west, let the monsters out of the box thru greed and laziness.
So, what colors do you think they will make homosexuals wear, or will they just kill us outright like they are doing in Iraq under the fatwa of our "great hope", Sistani?
He has a web site, by the way...

Now it is possible the whole thing is a propoganda story foisted on us by a quisling who doesn't like Iraq. Maybe. http://www.dailykos.com/story/2006/5/19/134147/842
It might also be that Iran is in damage control mode.
We'll have to see.
Even if the story is disinformation, it is a fact that the Middle East is full of holocaust deniers, that Hamas will not renounce violense, and Saddam (Gulf War 1) tried to bring Israel into the fight against him JUST so he could force Islamic countries to fight with him.
By the way, the Simon Wiesenthal Center thinks this is real.
