So, there's this
groovy convention happening in Las Vegas, and you're pretty stoked about being there. Then, you have a quick thought: "What am I going to do at night in Vegas?" I know how you feel...that town is
so dead. Nothing to do. So we're filling in the gaps.
Every paid registrant is invited to attend the events to be held in the evenings of Thurs. June 8th and Saturday, June 10th. A brief description is that each event is a cocktail reception that will be held in The Riviera at 8pm - midnight with doors opening at 7:30pm.
Details per night follows: (please keep in mind the line up is subject to change).

But Fabooj! What about the other nights? you ask. What about those of us getting in on Wed. or staying until Monday. Well...you're own your own. But really with hundreds of your Koslings in town, do you really think you'd be stranded alone in Sin City?
There are other non-YearlyKos events happening on Friday night:
Timroff is having an ePluribus Media Happy Hour in his room
Jack Carter is having Meet and Greet in a suite (how neat!)
There are other events also happening on Friday night that I guess will be announced shortly by the people hosting them.
So beyond the gambling, food and shows...what are your evening plans in Vegas?
UPDATE Klio posted a very good question at the YK forum.
Fabooj - Will we be able to buy dinners at the keynote? Or should we make meal arrangements elsewhere (before/after)? What time does the speech start?
Thanks, Klio
Unfortunately, we can not offer dinner, though there will be appetizers there. Therefore, we strongly suggest you eat dinner before the events. Maybe next week, I'll post a diary on the really good restaurants nearby and the ones a short cab ride away.
