I am angry.
I am angry at the terrible shape our country is in. I am angry that the elected leaders of this country were elected under shady circumstances at best. I am angry that this country has gone to war for false reasons and not completed any of the original goals, save one. I am angry that my phone calls, emails, which are my daily life, are monitored by my government. I am angry that the current administration has seen fit to declare itself above the law and beyond reproach. I am angry that the federal response to Hurricane Katrina was pathetic, unplanned, and is still being botched to this day, nine months later.
I am sad.
I am sad that so many of our young men and women have been killed in Iraq for no good reason. I am sad that many Americans died in Lousiana during/after Hurricane Katrina. I am sad, very sad, that so many good people do not realize that they have been lied to, cheated, and stolen from.
I am annoyed.
I am annoyed that I pay $3.00 a gallon for gas when oil companies are taking the largest profits in human history. I am annoyed that no one on the other side of the spectrum is willing to debate anything that's going on, and only label me as unpatriotic, communist, socialist or liberal, as I am none of these things. I am annoyed that I pay 25% taxes on an income upon which I can barely survive.
