Dr. Bruce Merrill at ASU released his monthly poll last night, and has Senator Jon Kyl leading Jim Pederson 43 - 29, with 28% undecided. People also approve of President Bush's job by 50 - 48, with 2% no opinion.
Now the bright spots: Gov. Napolitano's job approval is much better at 72 - 23 - 5, despite, or perhaps because of, the huge number of vetoes she has put onto the Republican legislature's series of bills. And the question that gives us hope of dumping JD Hayworth, "The Republican Party has controlled both houses of the U.S. Congress for several years. After this fall's elections would you prefer to see the Republicans or the Democrats have control of Congress?" is answered D - 45, R - 39, Don't Know - 16.
