The fight against corporate greed has to be fought on many fronts. Unions have been fighting this fight for years, and they're facing a tough battle in California right now.
Southern California grocery store workers are entering their 4th month of a strike to protect their healthcare benefits. The 3 grocery companies have banded together to break the back of this union so that they can set a precedent for workers all over the country.

These guys are on the front line in the war against corporate greed and the Walmart-ing of America. For decades, grocery stores have provided solid middle class jobs for people, and this may be going away as competition from big box stores drives down wages.
I'm a product of 2 generations of grocery employees, and I've worked at grocery stores, so I know what it's like to support yourself and your family at these wages. Most of these people are stretching to maintain a middle class lifestyle as it is, and I'm sure that 3 months of living on $100 a week is beginning to threaten their livelihoods, and their company-paid health benefits are going to be cancelled soon.
