May I be the first to call this community's attention to the abominable ad that desecrates a veritable icon of the liberal, Democratic caucus. Yes, I am talking about Hank (Henry to his friends) Johnson's inconsiderate ad currently front-paged on this here Daily Kos.
Sure, we may find Ms. McKinney challenging and difficult from time to time. However, she is one of our own. There is no reason for her to suffer the indignity and embarassment imposed upon her by a little known commisar from DeKalb.
Is it that Johnson calls her shrill which upsets me? No. Is it that Johnson questions her progressive bona fides that makes me furious? No. Quite honestly, it's the color scheme that I find offensive.

Anyone who got past their color wheel in kindergarten knows that orange and red just don't work together!
Resplendant in burnt orange, lapels creeping off her soft shoulders, Ms. McKinney looks magnificant until that objectionable red Maginot line dissects her. It throws off her carefully placed makeup; it inserts a gap into that radiant smile of hers; and it makes her beautiful eyes scream out for a shot of Visine.
In my opinion, a more appropriate slash color should have been earthier, warmer if you ask me. Maybe, a taupe or even an ivory slash would highlight Ms. McKinney's beaming visage and thus have a greater impact on the viewing public. My god, Johnson has the whole Sherwin Williams palette to choose from fer Chris' sakes. Get with it Hank!
Take this ad down until it is color coordinated!
