MEXICO CITY, Mexico, July 6, 2006.- Felipe Calderon, who according to IFE had the majority of the votes in the presidential election, assured on an interview with Joaquin Lopez-Doriga, that is willing to sit and talk with Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador.
He revealed that he has already worked on it through some mutual friends, even though he said: " I know the meeting is not going to be soon, but it will happen in the future".
He also pointed his intention to form a coalition government, he said he would talk to members of other politic forces to include them as part of his team, and therefore make a strategy that would not only include PAN, but all Mexicans.
He said that he is willing to incorporate members of other parties to his team, only when they fulfill two requirements: to be honorable and capable people, and that they can guarantee him the legislation power enough to make the reforms and laws needed for the development of the country.
Calderon said that his hand is extended for the ones that with him contended for the presidency and added that he will include some of their worries: "I'm going to apply some of the plans for social equality of Patricia Mercado; the worry for education of Roberto Campa; the emphasis on security of Roberto Madrazo and the worry for the poor of Lopez Obrador".
When he was questioned about his cabinet, he refused to give names, because he repeated that some people in it are going to come from the negotiation with several politic teams and forces.
He thanked the people that voted for him, and asked that those who didn't, to let him win their trust.

MEXICO CITY, Mexico, July 6, 2006.- The candidate for the coalition For the Good of Everyone, Andres Manuel Lopes Obrador, announced that he is going to appeal the results of the presidential election and go to the electoral court (Tribunal Electoral del Poder Judicial de la Federacion - TRIFE), because he won`t accept the ballot count done by IFE (Instituto Federal Electoral).
In a press conference in his campaign headquarters, Lopez Obrador called his supporters to come to the Zocalo next Saturday for an informative assembly to tell them all what had happened in the elections.
The native from the state of Tabasco, reminded that yesterday he had asked the top people in IFE to act responsibly and accused them of burning the legal term to make the ballot count. Accused IFE of accelerating to resolve the ballot count, that for the good of the country, needed uncertainty.
"I don't know in what part of the world a very narrow competition gets resolved the part of the computers and it goes to the court; that is a first, resolving over the results, a process that it should take longer", said the candidate of PRD.
"They refused to open the packages, there was a request, there wasn't the will to make this transparent, that's why we are going to go to TRIFE with the same request, of counting vote by vote, because we can't accept those results, we can't accept those results, there was a lot of irregularities and I'm talking about yesterday, but in general they are many...we have 4 days, we are going to TRIFE", said Lopez Obrador.
