Like so many places around the country, voters in Colorado care deeply about protecting their liberties and living their lives free from a powerful and intrusive government. As a leading candidate in Colorado's seventh Congressional district,
Peggy Lamm invited me to come to Colorado to talk about these issues and remind voters that one vote in Congress can make a real difference in people's lives.
I accepted her invitation and next Wednesday and Thursday, I'll be in Colorado - on the ground - working to send people to Washington who know the difference between running your family and running our country.
Holding these right-wing politicians accountable for what they did is the only way to keep them from doing it again. That's the reason I started TerriPAC.
It's just not enough anymore to say something is wrong. We've got to act. Act with our feet, our wallets and our votes.
Visit Peggy Lamm's website and make a financial donation - even a small one. Stop by TerriPAC's site and make a donation there too so we can keep this action going. With just $30 you can add your voice to our cause by giving $15 each to Lamm and TerriPAC. If you feel more generous, don't let me stop you.
You can count on me to keep speaking up and working for change. But I am also going to keep asking for your help because none of these candidates are going be successful without your help too.
If you're in the Denver area this Thursday, June 14th, come by and meet Peggy Lamm and me. I'll be hosting a fundraiser for Peggy at 5:30 that evening in Denver. For details, call 303-424-1451 or email Kelly@PeggyLammforCongress.com I think they're asking for a $50 donation or $150 if you can swing it. Peggy and I would love to get a few co-sponsors for our event from around the country.
Every place voters and leaders need to hear this message I will be there - working through TerriPAC to elect good candidates like Peggy Lamm in Denver, Jim Davis in Florida and Kathy Castor in Tampa.
Hope to see a few of you in Denver this week!
