It's Friday night - time to liven this place up a bit. I've been thinking about all the things I never talk about with my liberal friends or post on DailyKos because they are politically incorrect, well at least for progressives like me with a strong libertarian streak.
So, post it now and unburden your soul or flame away at me for my sins - your choice. I'll go first, here's my confession:
1. I didn't recycle until a few months ago. At all. Rationalized it by a fear of attracting roaches, but honestly, I was too lazy.
2. I'm pissed they don't serve peanuts anymore on airplanes. While I sympathize with people who have deadly allergies, I don't like pretzels, they get stuck in my teeth.
3. I like the show 24. Kiefer is hot. Sometimes I find myself cheering him on when he goes medieval on the bad guys.
4. I voted for Reagan in 84. I can't remember who I voted for in 88. Maybe I didn't vote that year ... it's all a bit hazy. Yeah, I know Reagan did lots of bad stuff. But at least it felt like he talked to all Americans in tv addresses, not just his party.
5. I find Cindy Sheehan annoying. Props to her for getting attention for the anti-Iraq war movement, but I can't listen to her talk. And I think her buying land in Crawford is a bit stalkerish, after all, Bush will be out of office in 08 - then what?
Bonus Confession: I really don't care that much who wins in CT. That race has occupied less than 1% of my thoughts. But I would like to win back the Senate. And Santorum MUST go.
