So I am going to burn a diary to talk about the first quake I just experienced in San Francisco.
You can go to the USGS real time earthquake reporting system to look into earthquakes going on here in Northern California.
I go there often to try and confirm or deny any weird jolt I feel from time to time here in San Francisco. Most of the time I am wrong, but tonight it was a doozy.
Not the big one by any stretch of the imagination, but with all of the tsunamis, and major quakes over the last 2 years I am a bit nervous about the big one hitting here. Especially all of the time I am stuck on the Bay Bridge during rush hour.
So I guess this diary is for the people in the Bay Area that felt the rumblings and how you feel about living in a city, or region, that could in a moments notice be turned into dust do to the natural movements of plate tectonics?
