I first learned that Chavez had labelled Bush the Devil, it was from a South African paper.

I expected that it wouldn't get much press coverage in the states, but there it was as a top story on CNN.

However CNN left out my favorite quoute
"It smells of sulfur still today, this table that I am now standing in front of".
And personally, while I think that Bush is an evil little man, I disagree with the assement that he is the Devil.
Even putting aside the fact I don't believe in hell, I've always thought that if there was one the Bush administration would be in for some serious payback. I evisioned all Americans in residence poking Bush and company with pitch forks for all eternity. However, if Chavez is right, Bush would be the ruler there too. Not only would the be no poking fun, but even hell wouldn't be an escape from being tortured by Bush!
However, I'm confident that Bush is not the Devil. I respect the Devil too much for that. Lucifer was after all an angel that argued with God and fell. I rather respected him for that. It takes a lot of courage to disagree with God and say so to his face. Lucifer had courage and princpal. George Bush has neither.
What do you all think? Is Chavez right?
