Democratic Congressional Candidate Bill Morrison spoke to the Rhodes College Democrats Tuesday night.
Democratic Congressional Candidate Bill Morrison spoke to the Rhodes College Democrats Tuesday night. Bill talked about the upcoming November 7th election and to find out what issues college students were concerned today.
"This is the future of our political system," said Morrison. "I'm impressed with the political awareness of these college students and look forward to seeing some of them run for office someday."
As a teacher, Bill Morrison understands the value of a good education. That's why, when he's elected, Bill will create better opportunities for more students to afford college. Some of his ideas include creating programs to help families save for college, creating tax-free Loans, and by restoring the funding of loans for Middle Class families.
Marsha Blackburn can't say the same. While tuition costs have continued to rise for ordinary Americans, Rep. Blackburn voted to cut Federal student aid by $12.7 billion -- the biggest such cuts in history. Gee, thanks Marsha!
EVENT ALERT!: Bill Morrison will be having an event at the Brentwood Grille (www.brentwoodgrille.com) in Williamson County tomorrow, September 28th, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Everyone in middle Tennessee is invited to come out and get to know the candidate.
