I need to rant. It might not be a cohesive rant, but I'm pissed off and need the release (although I'd rather do it like Audrey Hepburn in Funny Face now seen in a GAP commercial).
The final straw in determining that it was, indeed, rant time was this little blurb on CNN.com featuring a sketch on The Daily Show about their 'i Report' feature.
The description of the video? "'The Daily Show Host' jumps on the I-Report bandwagon"
No you FUCKS!!!! He's not! He's explicitly and sarcastically calling you lazy, irresponsible hacks!
More things that piss me off below the fold.
Only CNN, or Republicans, would try to say something explicitly insulting them means that the insultor actually agrees.
They changed the headline on the main page "Jon Stewart mocks benefits of CNN's I-Report" but the description is still as described above.
Minor, i know.
Ted Stevens pisses me off.
He wants to eliminate phone privacy protections (in a Privacy Protection bill no less) to save Bush's unconstitutional Civilian Surveillance Program.
I'm pissed off with both the Democrats and the Republicans. I'm pissed at the Democrats for not making a decision on DNC 2008 and at the Republicans for snatching Minnesota first.
I wonder if they'll shut down I-94...
Legalizing torture pisses me off. Hell, if you're going to legalize it, bring out the rack! Let's build our own fucking Tower of London scald them with branding irons. If we're going to torture these guys, I want us to be the best torturers ever. I want new methods of torture. I want them to write textbooks about how we were the most vile, evil torturers in the history of the world. First step- bring back crucifixion. I can think of a few politicians who would rather martyr themselves than try to actually do something. I wonder if they'll get 72 committee chairs.
So, what's pissing you off? And, should I add a poll.
Update [2006-9-28 15:1:0 by guyermo]:
CNN's new headline for the Jon Stewart tape (I shit you not): Jon Stewart's I-Report makes him a hottie
