"There is no intention to spare anyone's embarrassment. We have been under no pressure to do so," said Deputy Assistant Commissioner Andy Trotter. "There will be no exclusion zones. He (Bush) could quite easily come into contact with demonstrators."
I say good. Let him reap the harvest his policy of unilateralism has caused. Let him, for once, see what kind of resentment his actions have earned this country from those who were formerly supportive of us. Heaven forbid he should have to take a walk among the common men and women of this world, even if it meant he got a little s*** on him!
The British should do nothing to stiffle the demonstrations nor do anything to prevent Bush from encountering protesters. He should, of course, be kept safe from harm, but not kept safe from any opinions not in line with his own.
