Variety magazine reports:
After originally announcing its intention to air "The Path to 9/11" with limited commercial interruption, the network now will air both parts of the $30 million Harvey Keitel starrer without any advertising.
What's more, the Alphabet will potentially limit its backend profits by allowing consumers to download the complete miniseries -- for free -- via Apple's iTunes Music Store. Mini also will be streamed for free via ABC.com, and XM Radio has pacted with the network to make an audiocast of the film available to its subscribers.

More on the flip:
Essentially, this work of propaganda masquerading as a mini series is Karl Rove's declaration of war on America, and ABC/Disney are his foot soldiers in the fight to retain majorities in the House and Senate post November.
Backers of the Republican Party have deep pockets, granted, but even a media conglomerate the size of Disney has its limits. They are running the "mini series" commercial free, and I will not begin to calculate the loss in profits, but I wonder if they bothered to consult with their stockholders ahead of contract negotiations.
Since reasoning with the network executives will come to little or naught (remember the hit piece on Kerry aired by Sinclair Broadcasting?), we must take a new tack. I have a dream, and it consists of four steps:
First, we must bombard the members of Disney's and ABC's boards of directors with complaints inasmuch as the administration is again trying to rewrite history.
Second, we must organize a boycott of the network through at least the end of the year. I'm deadly serious. Boycott every single show, day/night, weekday, weekend, prime time -- every single show. How will Disney/ABC's sponsors respond to that?
Sure, it's going to hurt those who watch football and soap operas, etc. But no pain, no gain. As John Kennedy said, "Ask not what your country can do for you; ask what you can do for your country." In other words, pledge to watch anything but ABC programming.
Third, to really give them the shaft let's all refuse to buy tickets to see anything Disney and its distributors screen in movie theatres or on stage through the end of the year.
And finally, fourth, boycott all of Disney's theme parks through the end of the year. Parents, put off that trip you were planning with your kids to Disney World, etc. With your mortgage payments going up, your fuel and energy bills going up, and your paycheck shrinking by the day, you really can't afford that trip anyway.
Being realistic, I recognize that we do not have time to organize a total boycott, but if we broadcast our intent via the internet, we can put a serious crimp in Disney's and ABC's bottom line.
Are you with me on this?
