The Club for Growth
endorsed three Senate candidates today: Mike Bouchard (Michigan), Michael Steele (Maryland), and Mike McGavick (Washington).
At least in the case of Mike McGavick, I'm pleased with the endorsement, because the Club for Growth is becoming a red flag for voters. In his television advertisements, McGavick has been attempting to suggest that he's opposed to partisanship and just wants to work with others to get things done. Here's another one. Fortunately, this endorsement shows this for the scam it is.
But even as I'm attempting to concentrate on the political aspects of this development, I can't help thinking: what is it with Republican senate candidates named Mike that make them so irresistible to the CfG?
