Thanks but no thanks. I really do not need anyone or any micky mouse company explaining, describing or helping me to remember a tragic event that took place in our country.
I remember very well what I was doing, where I was and what I felt at the moment. All of this group of helpers can do is to feed me distortions, rewrite history and otherwise cloud up perceptions.
I am ashamed at what this country has become since this event. We use to be a becon of all that is right in the world. A new government based on a very simple but incredibly difficult mandate. By the people, for the people.
Now we are being lead by an administration that not only allowed the event to take place, but now relish on their ability to politicize it. In Bush's last speech he made over 50 references to either 9/11 or Bin Laden. Why was he not concerned about it when he was handed a briefing describing how this was going to happen.
Through this entire week this administration has made speech after speech helping everyone to remember the events of this day. However this same administration has also forgotten to remind us who was in charge this day, who had intel to help prevent this event, and worst of all who then mislead this nation into a war with a country who had NOTHING TO DO WITH the attacks of 9/11.
I find it disgusting to watch the news today. Our country is being lead by a group of individuals who have no desire to protect mine or your liberties, safety, or rights. They have only one goal in mind. STAY IN PoWER.
Personally I plan on spending the anniversary of this tradgic event by praying for the families of those who lost their lives not only in this event but also the war that was started because of it. I refuse to watch any propaganda which will distort the event. I refuse to spend my money on a company that wants to make money shoving this crap down peoples throats. I then will work hard to make sure this administration pays for the crimes it has done to this great country. VOTE THEM OUT!!!
