It makes me physically ill to see his face or hear his voice, so I decided that I could not stomach watching Bush's Iraq escalation announcement. My girlfriend and I had taped an episode of House from the night before and chose to watch that instead. We figured that it was more believable than annything Bush would say. I mean, what person in their right mind would believe ANYTHING the man says at this point.

He was wrong about the links to Al Qaeda and 9/11.
He was wrong about us being greeted as liberators.
He was wrong about having enough troops to secure Iraq.
He was wrong about mission accomplished.
He was wrong about the cost of the war.
He was wrong about the capture of Saddam ending the violence.
etc.
etc.
etc.
He was wrong about everything.
So why should any sane person believe a single word that comes out of his mouth? And what is the point of even listening to him? I have better things to do with my time... like watching Dr. House diagnose the obscure disease of the week. House is always right, so I will put my trust in him instead.
