The Politico quotes Al Gore's former campaign manager
Donna Brazile, who was Gore's campaign manager in 2000, strongly hinted at a recent speaking engagement that Gore could make a "dramatic entrance into the 2008 presidential race" at the Academy Awards next month. "Wait till Oscar night," she told a small audience at Moravian College in Pennsylvania.
Drama at Oscar night ! Redundant ? Not this time. Al Gore will outshine the entire Academy Awards. Thunderous standing ovations at the show. Whooping and hollering at home.
Al Gore stands as the best possible president for 2008. The most experience at the highest levels of government. The most respect among world leaders. A very high level of integrity and honesty. A great amount of tact and humility. Respect for science. All of the other candidates fall behind in at least 3 of these 5 criteria.
I'd like to see either an Al Gore / Bill Richardson ticket or Al Gore / Russ Feingold ticket.
