Did you miss the February YearlyKos auction? Were you outbid on something you really wanted? Have you begun your spring cleaning and need to de-clutter your home? Well, lucky Kossack, YearlyKos is having an April Auction!
On Sunday evening, April 15th, we will start our second auction designed to raise funds and help defray the costs of the 2007 YearlyKos Convention in Chicago. You can help out by donating items, by purchasing once the auction starts, or by doing both! If you would like to donate any items, please contact us at auctions at yearlykosconvention dot org.
February’s auction was a great success, and we would love to be able to say the same of our April auction. If you either donated or purchased in our February auction, I would just like to thank you. All of you were wonderful and we appreciate your help in making YearlyKos affordable for everyone.
Here is a sample of what will be offered in April:
- Silver Pootie Earrings
- Cookies of Mass Destruction
- Signed "Born Fighting" tradeback by Jim Webb, donated for YearlyKos
- Jim Beam Democratic Convention Decanter
And now, a few words about why we do this:
YearlyKos Convention - n. yier-lee-KOS k&n-'ven(t)-sh&n An annual convention gathering people from all walks of life who belong to the Netroots community, the US-based (but globally focused and inclusive) non-partisan grassroots political action community that uses the Internet and blogs as primary tools for: expressing viewpoints, building consensus, acting to change the status quo, mobilizing huge numbers of people and informing each other and the world about current events, grassroots actions, networks, meetings, policy and more. The YearlyKos Convention is a project of bloggerpower.org with the generous support of YearlyKos Inc.
This will be a fabulous event, and whether or not you can make it, you can still be a very real part of helping it happen.
Please send your tax deductible donation offers to auctions@yearlykosconvention.org
