It's now become clear that under Bush the Justice Department has been obsessed with bunk allegiations of voter fraud. Voter fraud is when there are allegiations of wrong doing from a republican offical against a democratic offical. Voter fraud can also be going after states to purge there voter rolls. According to The New York Times, it also involves going after people who make a simple mistake.
Where's Osama? Hold that thought.
Five years after the Bush administration began a crackdown on voter fraud, the Justice Department has turned up virtually no evidence of any organized effort to skew federal elections, according to court records and interviews.
Hmmm, I wonder why that is? Maybe it's because they are looking in the wrong places!
It would seem to me that the very act of focusing the governments resources to prosecute and tarnish democrats is in itself an act of voter fraud. Don't take my word for it, let's ask an expert on FRAUD.
It may be six million Jews. it may be indicting somebody on laws that don’t exist. But, it’s the same philosophy and it’s the same world view.
WHHHHAAATTT? Okay, maybe he isn't the right person to ask. Certainly there has to be some evidence of voter fraud?
The 2002 New Hampshire Senate election phone jamming scandal involves the use of a telemarketing firm hired by that state's Republican Party (NHGOP) for election tampering.
I assume by Republican Party they mean Democrats? Show me the puddin!
Found the following links which all seem to point to the same company that is suspected of tearing up Democratic voter registration forms in Las Vegas. It has set up registration drives in Pennsylvania, Minnesota, Michigan, Ohio, West Virginia, Florida and Nevada and is accused of the same things in most if not all of these states. Sproul & Associates is a Republican consulting firm run by Nathan Sproul, former head of the Arizona Republican party and Arizona Christian Coalition.
YIKKES! Look over there it's a magic fish!
Ohio Republicans issued last-minute challenges to the legitimacy of more than 35,000 registered voters, based on registered letters to the voters that were sent back by the post office as undeliverable. About 4,700 of these were withdrawn after it was discovered that the mail was returned because of a claimed database processing error which led to the incorrect pairing of names and addresses. Many more of these challenges were withdrawn or rejected after it was demonstrated that some of the challengers did not have the "personal knowledge" required to make the challenge [Washington Post, 10/26/04; Akron Beacon Journal, 10/28/04].
A letter falsely claiming to be from the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) incorrectly informs voters that they "must have a credit check, provide two forms of photo identification, a Social Security card, a voter registration card and a handwriting sample" [Los Angeles Times, 10/29/04].
Meh. But surely those Democratic goons in Milwaukee have been up to no good.
A flier was distributed in African-American neighborhoods in Milwaukee which falsely warned potential voters of such things as "If you've already voted in any election this year you can't vote in the presidential election" and claiming that "If you violate any of these laws you can get ten years in prison and your children will get taken away from you." [Daily Kos, 10/28/04]
Erggg. What about the massive Democratic conspiracy to steal votes? Certainly Karl can get Steve to tarnish at least one Democratic offical!
We are concerned whether or not politics may have played a role in a case brought by Stephen Biskupic, the United States Attorney based in Milwaukee, against Georgia Thompson, formerly an official in the administration of Wisconsin’s Democratic governor. The Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals was reportedly so troubled by the insufficiency of the evidence against Ms. Thompson that it made the unusual decision to issue an order reversing Ms. Thompson’s conviction and releasing her from custody immediately after oral arguments in her appeal.
Note: Biskupic's task force pursued a range of cases -- eighteen prosecutions total. The US Attorney's office prosecuted fourteen individuals. Four were indicted on charges of double voting, all of whom were either acquitted or had charges dismissed. Eight felons were indicted for unlawfully voting. Five of these individuals were eventually acquitted; the others were convicted and sentenced to punishments ranging from fines to probation. In addition, two former felons serving as poll workers were prosecuted for unlawfully voting. Both men received short jail sentences. The office of the District Attorney confirmed their successful prosecution of two individuals who falsified registration cards. Finally, the Journal Sentinel has reported that the District Attorney prosecuted two additional cases of illegal voting by felons.
Ohh there has got to be some fraud somewhere!
THERE IS YOUR VOTER FRAUD!
