On behalf of Hillary and her campaign, I want to thank YearlyKos - the organizers, the community, the attendees - for an exceptional gathering and an opportunity to have a frank and substantive discussion of some of the most important issues facing us, from ending the war in Iraq to ensuring affordable and accessible health care for all Americans, from the need to make America safer to increasing access to high-quality early education, from strengthening the middle class to combating global warming.
YearlyKos provides a forum not just to discuss those issues but to put a real face to a virtual name - this was not just a chance for you to meet and hear Hillary, it was an opportunity for her to meet and get to know you.
Hillary has been fighting for change her entire life, and she has taken on the Republican machine - and defeated it - more than once. As she emphasized at her breakout session and during the presidential forum, bloggers and online activists play an important role as strong and vocal proponents of core Democratic and progressive values. With the help of the netroots, Hillary will continue to fight for those values and in her words, "hit the restart button on the 21st century."
As Hillary's Internet Director, I will continue to post here at Daily Kos and I invite you to visit blogHillary and share your feedback and ideas with the campaign.
Thanks again.
Peter
