We all know how George Dubya Bush has a way with words.
Well, he is at it again, making a fool of himself and the country he speaks for.
Get this.
Gaffe-prone Bush in fine form at APEC summit
'OPEC' forum filled with slips of the tongue, confusion for president
More ----->
Shrub is in fine form.
If the headlines aren't enough, here are some snippets.
Bush's tongue started slipping almost as soon as he started talking at a business forum on the eve of an Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit in Sydney.
"Mr. Prime Minister, thank you for your introduction," he told Prime Minister John Howard. "Thank you for being such a fine host for the OPEC summit."
Give him a break, you know, OPEC and APEC are pretty much the same thing, well, speech wise.
But at least he knows his world geography.
Later in his speech, Bush recounted how Howard had gone to visit "Austrian troops" last year in Iraq. There are, in fact, no Austrian troops there. But Australia has about 1,500 Australians military personnel in and around the country.
Read the rest, not much more, unless walking the wrong direction off of the stage, or even trying to cover up his mistake on the APEC/OPEC thing with another gaffe isn't much more.
Man, what I'd give for Bill to be back in charge, at least he knew what the hell was going on around him.

I hope this hasn't been diaried, I made a scan and didn't see it. If it was and I'm out of line, I'll delete. I don't post many diaries.
