Hey all . . me and my wife took our 4 year old with us to witness democracy in action. Both placed our votes down the Democratic ticket here in the Far West End of Richmond VA, a heavily Conservative area.
A couple quick tid bits .

Hi Dales! By: horaceox
Just one thing I was thinking about -- I think I'm the only one who was in a heavy Dem precinct -- Church Hill for those who know Richmond. It was on pace to exceed the '01 turnout numbers quite easily. That could be really, really bad news for Kilgore.

This link should take you to around the clock #'s as they come in on the VA race.
Also quite interesting. At our polling place there were only two groups outside when we arrived around noon.
A pair of young kids prob in high school with Bolling pins. And an elderly lady sitting at a table. The two girls said nothing as my family walked by. The lady asked if i was interested in anything about the "enviromental" candidates. I of course said yes. It was the first time I saw who running for my VA House Of Delegates seat on the list. But hey im okay with that.
I told my wife I must not look GOP :) My wife said it was the scruffy hippy look ive been cultivating over the last three months :) Who knows but if you know anyone in VA who has not voted get the vote out!!!
