So apprently there's a new method for oil extraction that could quadruple known oil reserves in the US, and it can be done by burying CO2 from our coal fired plants.:

IF this works I imagine the doom and gloomers are going to have to postpone their party. IF this can really work it sounds like a great idea to me and can buy us some time on the transfer to renewable energy.
