Every now and then I like to pull off a little practical joke at the expense of the Right Wingers here in Virginia. Some of you may remember when we Freeped the poll at George Allen's website--Allen was forced to take down the poll and never posted another!
Well, I have another little job for you, if you follow me past the jump.
Here is Virginia we have a couple of "blog aggregators," that collect and republish posts from political websites. One of these posts is run by a Democrat and is basically non-partisan, though it's operator was forced to ban one Republican blogger after he posted pictures of a terrorist victim.
The other blog aggregator is run by a Republican and while it is still pretty non-partisan, certain features of this blog have been exploited by our Republican rivals. The name of this aggregator is Blognetnews--Virginia, and you may have a version of this website in your own state.
Here's the mother of all poll freeping opportunities I mentioned. BNN--Virginia recently introduced a rating feature on the website which allows readers to rate the posts they read. A tiny faction of Republican bloggers who write like ten-year olds and ae basically unread by anyone outside of their own circle have exploited this feature to pump up their ratings and hurt Democratic and Progressive blogs with correspondingly low ratings.
Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to visit Blognetnews--Virginia and freep the hell out of the ratings. It shouldn't take you long to figure out who the Democrats are and who the ten year-old Republicans are. Rate your favorite Dems a "10" and our hated foes should receive a "1."
The handful of Republicans freeping this website number perhaps five, but they've managed to skew the results. Imagine what a few hundred Kossacks could do: it would be like a donkey placing its hoof on the scales!
