So he's there, trashing Hillary every other sentence, trying to use Obama to trash her, and at the same time, insulting Obama every chance he gets.
He calls Hillary a "McGovern elitist."
He sarcastically asks "what kind of kingdom" Obama is going to create, smugly mocking Obama's references to his faith (which I really wish he would stop doing. John, too. Hillary too.)
Just another rant from me over the fold!
And of course Tucker goes on and on and on and on about this "woman" thing. And why would anyone ever vote based on gender. IT SHOULDN'T MATTER, DON'T YOU KNOW? (Yea, Tucker, we know. Gender shouldn't have mattered for voting, or property rights, or money. Neither should have race. But hey, it did. So if it matters now to some, get over it. Isn't that what you neocons keep telling women and minorities?)
So then there is this guy on from Politico whining with Tucker on how the white male is the minority now, the ones being left out and the democrats need to start trying to appeal for them?
So what should we do? (with my sincere apologies to all the very highly evolved white males that post here? Snark to follow!)
**Should we (the democratic women) stop getting educated since that is apparently what makes Hillary an "elitist". She was not born into money and was not raised in the Northeast. Last time I looked Ohio was not a part of that Ivy League world.
**Should the democratic candidates all go out and get tattoos and do rallies at the local car races? (For the record I personally like tattoos and am currently trying to research the locals so I can get one.....clean and reasonably. But this is snark).
**Should we demand that no one take away the two century long domination of white males in business and government and demand Hillary step down and Obama step down to prove we understand the fear? (Do I really have to explain to Tucker that this is the first time in our history we have even come close to having a women or a minority win the presidency?)
**Should we feel bad and NOT remind you that overwhelmingly men still run things? (Among the 494 Fortune 500 companies with male CEOs, 390 had no top-five female staffers reporting directly to them...from a USA report in 2003. Somehow I do not think that has gotten better since then.)
So what is Tucker's problem? Is it that everyone knows he is THE elitist snob, the one who got where he is because of Mommy and Daddy (seriously Tuck you don't really believe you would have been on television if Daddy wasn't an ambassador and Mom wasn't a Swanson, do you).
Does he honestly believe that "white males" as a group are getting a raw deal? Seriously?
I know, QUIT watching. But, I am a news/political junkie. The other two choices were Lou Dobbs (bad enough in and of itself) and his guest was Laura Ingram, and FOX. At least Tucker had Ed Schultz and Bob Franken in for the first half hour.
Lord have mercy....
