The National Arab American Journalists Association today issued a press release declaring that the so-called curse by Billy Sianis' on the Chicago Cubs, provoked when he and his alleged goat were expelled from Wrigley Field a "fraud."
The National Arab American Journalists Association, who have been fighting anti-Arab bias in the media for years, today said they would take a stand on one of the most sinister accusations against people from the Middle East since the claim that falafel is not Arab: Billy Sianis' Goat is not a Goat but a Llama from South America. We know that because when Philip Wrigely ordered the Andy Frain ushers to evict Sianis and his alleged goat from the ballpark during the 4th Game of the 1945 World Series, Wrigley was heard mumbling through a mouth full of chewing gum, "Dayt ain't no goat. It smells like Fernando Llamas."
