Disclosure: I am volunteering out of the Robin Weirauch for Congress campaign headquarters in Bowling Green.
Today is the last day before Election Day. The crush of volunteers from the weekend is over, so the office is calmer. It’s the calm before the storm, the forecast for tomorrow is more bad weather. We’re still seeing volunteers streaming in to talk to voters. Everyone is talking about how this is going to be a close one, so nobody wants to leave that last door un-knocked, that last number un-called.
What we need now, is you.
If you can help out in person, please come to Bowling Green. Or you can sign up for the virtual phonebanking and call voters from home: email phonebank4robin@gmail.com to get started. And please, if you have friends or family living anywhere in the 5th, call them up and ask them to vote for Robin on Tuesday. A personal call is the best motivator of all. As Senator Sherrod Brown said yesterday, "If you each get five people, it will actually matter in this race. Go out and find five people each in the next 48 hours, and we're going to have a new congresswoman."
There may be some more posts from others today, a blogger is now here from Buckeye State Blog, one of Ohio’s statewide progressive blogs.
Check out our YouTube page, we’ll hopefully have some more videos up there soon.
A couple more things you can do, are to join the campaign on Facebook and MySpace. And donate for GOTV expenses, money coming in is still being allocated for tomorrow.
Not sure when results will be available tomorrow night, a good place to look is the Ohio Secretary of State website.
