I want to give Hillary backers the chance to make their case. I've seen a lot of horse race stuff, campaign tactics stuff, but very little about what Hillary has actually accomplished in her career. Now I could go sifting through the muck out on the tubes, but with some passionate Clintonistas around here, I'm sure I can get what I'm looking for.
Anti-HRC posters will surely show up, but I would like the focus to be on her positive qualities and accomplishments. Tell me why I should vote for your lady (my senator).
I was a Richardson supporter because he has the broadest and deepest experience of any candidate in the race and he made energy policy (my pet issue) a key part of his governorship. At this point his steady rise in the polls has reversed and I'm in the market for another candidate. I'm leaning Obama, don't like Edwards.
I won't go into why I am not excited by Hillary, but if she does get the nomination I want reasons to support her other than the (D) by her name. So please, give me positive reasons to support her, not reasons I shouldn't support anyone else.
Contributions from fellow New Yorkers are especially welcome. About the only thing she's done on our behalf that I'm aware of was effectively advocating on for us during the last BRAC negotiations. Schumer is very good at getting press attention and seems to be much more concerned about his constituents than Hillary. Prove me wrong.
