A WHAT? To WHOM? Trying to send a "constructive friendly letter" to Sean Hannity is like sending an oxymoron on a suicide mission, you no doubt are thinking to yourself (or something like it). Or in more straightforward language, like trying to offer friendly advice to a braying jackass.
Today at www.foxnews.com, Sean posted commentary entitled: "Is the Democratic Party waving the white flag on Iraq?" While my first impulse was to respond with something correct but utterly futile of making any impact with Sean and the FoxFolks like "Is Sean Hannity wanting the US to endlessly replay the British charge at Gallipoli", fortunately I thought of a genuinely devastating, chickenhawk-armor-piercing response that would be hard to ignore, if only enough of us responded in similar vein.
MY EMAIL TO SEAN: (hannity@foxnews.com)
SUBJECT: No Surrender in Iraq
Sean:
You believe it's crucially important that we stick with it and win in Iraq...so when are you volunteering to join an active National Guard Unit and put your boots and gun on the ground, instead of staying safe at home while other families' fathers, sons, and daughters go to risk their lives to urban combat and IUDs?
Let's see action, not just words.
cmoreNC (actually, I used my real name in the email)
Please feel free to crib this email. If enough of us flood sean with simple responses like this, leaving out many other well-deserved invectives, it would be hard to ignore once the blogsphere outside KOS got wind of it (and perhaps the other mainstream media).
Simple. To the Point. Sean has no good answer to this.
