I owe the Kerry supporters here an apology.
When John Kerry he returned home from the War and decided it was a Bad Thing, he took part in a conference that attempted to expose the Truth about the Vietnam war, and testified before Congress as an expert on the matter.
I thought it was complete B.S. when I read about it. Kerry was a junior officer aboard a Swift boat, and he wasn't there for more than four months. How could he have gained such vast knowledge on the matter?
And now I know. Because he himself participated in a few so-called atrocities. Kerryistas, you have my apology.
He also gets my grudging respect - Lt. Kerry was a a bit of a wild man as J.O. it seems. I would have moved heaven and earth not to be in his crew, but he gets my respect.
