YearlyKos II goers-
Any trip to the Windy City would be incomplete without a visit to Wrigley Field, home of the Chicago Cubs... Lucky for us we may be able to arrange group tickets for the Phillies v. Cubs game at 7:05 p.m. on Wednesday, August 1.
This diary is to gauge interest, get ideas & figure out how to make this happen because it would be a blast to go as a group...
UPDATE:based on information learned in the comments, you may want to get your tickets now on your own...
Baseball: August 2 Chicago Cubs vs Philadelphia Phillies 7:05 PM
Cubs fans, come out & see Chase Utley & Ryan Howard in action! I was gonna say "come out & see Chase Utley & Ryan Howard hand the Cubs their a____es, but..." heh

Other things to keep in mind: since as far as I know, no schedule has been announced it is possible that another event might happen related to but independent of YearlyKos II- i.e. maybe Mark Warner will change his mind & give us another chocolate shower in the Sears Tower (and Hillary will rent a flying carpet to hover a foot above it to show nevermind lol) at the same time of the baseball game.
I do not know under what circumstances we can buy tickets, final prices, possible group discounts, etc. It looks like March 2 is when tickets become available.
This has to be blocked out in a way where people purchase & are responsible for buying their own tickets, because it may be a lot & I think we've all been there with the buying tickets for others thing, heh.
This diary is to introduce the subject & gague interest. If someone else has already done this, please point me to it & I'll delete-
And if the staff or volunteers of YearlyKos would like to address this, that would be most welcome as email inquiries don't seem to have gotten through.
Based on information gained through this I can make some inquiries.
If you can comment let me know if your interest in this is hot, medium, lukewarm or cold as far as the realistic liklihood of your attending such an event. As for transportation, we'll have to address that later or be left to our own devices- I'm sure that's not too hard to figure out.
