Maybe it was Ben Chandler's victory, but have you noticed what seems to be a recent proliferation of candidate ads?
(Frankly the draft Kerry-Edwards one needs to go. It's pointless--Kerry looks like he's going to win anyway, and we don't get to elect the VP candidate--I'd rather see that space go to someone else, or wait until the Dem team is actually set)
I just noticed that my own new sort of project, Joe Hoeffel has one up too.
They seem to have crowded out the dating ads (good riddance). I'm a little tired of seeing Bush's face with the one from the guy from Indiana, but it seems like we have a good bunch going so I'm curious.
Do you guys like the ads? Do you have favorites? Are any particularly effective either for their message or how they use the medium? Are any particularly ineffective? Goofy? Will any make you part with your money? (I assume that most of these are primarily about fundraising, not affecting large blocs of voters)
It looks like the genie is out of the bottle so I'm curious how this will develop as we go along...
