Who does this so-called reporter think she is kidding?
That is right, you just heard a supposedly unbiased reporter ask a Senator of the United States the following question:
O'Donnell: Tony Snow said today, "You guys want the truth", and in this interview, you are going to get the truth from Karl Rove".
Wow. I am glad that is all cleared up. Please move on. There is nothing to see here.
It actually gets worse. Please click above and view pure hackery in action.
Really, is she related to Karl Rove? What journalist with any integrity would ask a question like that? Did she forget she was actually on TV?
Update [2007-3-21 21:42:2 by justmy2]: I forgot to mention that O'Donnell wasn't even polite enough to thank the Senator at the end of the interview. Disingenuous and rude...not a very good combination for a so-called journalist.
Update [2007-3-21 21:42:2 by justmy2]: As CAL11 voter and SFOrange point out below, O'Donnell could be attempting to attribute the entire quote above to Snow. This would drop the level of "hackiness" a bit. I will let others decide, although the rest of the interview does her no favors in swaying me to her side.
I am actually surprised Senator Leahy remained so cool. But I guess after the Vice President tells you to Go Cheney Yourself, I guess you are used to hearing just about anything.
Look, we know Norah has a long record of playing the role of White House hack, but this absolutely takes the proverbial cake.
And to think the she is NBC's Chief Washington Correspondent. I guess she has been hanging out with her Fox counterpart, Brit Hume, over the past few years, because she seems to be channeling him.
With evidence like this, and this, it is pretty clear that she has the role of White House shill down pat.
Feel free to contact viewerservices@msnbc.com and let MSNBC know what you think. Remember, please be respectful, if even if Norah doesn't seem to respect your intelligence.
