Chuck Hagel is once again talking the "I" word against George Bush. Over the weekend, Hagel made these comments in response to Bush not listening to what the American people and the Congress have to say about the ongoing disaster in Iraq.
When it comes to the war, Hagel is willing to put his money where his mouth is. He has been against the war, and will continue to be against it, but I have some advice for Chuck, don't talk impeachment unless you are ready to follow though on it.
I would love nothing better than to see both Bush and Deadeye Dick Cheney walk out of the White House with handcuffs and head off to jail to serve time for the multiple crimes they've both committed, but all the talk of impeachment is just that, talk.
Mr. Hagel, I respect you as a Senator when it comes to being against the war, and if you are willing to travel down the impeachment road, I'll be right behind you. But if you, or any or your colleagues are just going to talk about impeachment, then don't even bother me with it. George Bush must be held accountable for what he's done, and he deserves to be impeached. Mr. Hagel, do you really mean what you say? If yes, then do it, if not, then shut the hell up, and don't waste my time.
